About the placement Beardmore & Company Limited are Independent Financial Advisors (Ifa) and chartered Financial Planners offering financial planning and advice for individuals and businesses on all aspects of capital investment Iht planning pensions Isas and life protection. A relatively new development for the company has been the transformation from an active management role to a passive management role. This means Beardmore & Company no longer invest in stocks and shares which are handpicked through stock brockers but instead rely on the passive management strategy which simply tracks the market performance as a whole reducing our clients risk and cost exposure. The purpose of this 10 week role is to plan design and create a presentation that will demonstrate to the companys new and existing clients the merits of passive management in comparison to the old active strategy which they have become accustomed to. This presentation will enable the advisor to paint a picture to the clients in order for them to understand the differences between the two styles. Responsibilities will include Researching the industry Producing tables and charts Simplifying statistics and figures for clients Ensuring all information included is fully referenced. All candidates must demonstrate the following A business or financial degree Excellent organisational and planning skills Very good communication skills both written and verbal Knowledge of stock markets Computer literacy. Applicants must be aware of the current political and economic issues within the world of finance in order to keep up to date with the industry this will enable the company to portray an efficient and professional image to their clients. Expected Outcomes The aim of the project is to simplify the transformation from Active to Passive Management for both Beardmore & Co and for their clients.
